And Let the Festive Season Begin

Mince pies here.. mince pies there... mince pies everywhere.  The festive season has begun.  On the 7th of December the school corridors at St. Patrick’s became a Michelin star patisserie.  Parents were also invited and mingled with the students.  They could feel the joyous atmosphere that pervades the school.  300 mince pies were baked, packed and ready to be sold. Overall result of part 1 of the day:  A family atmosphere.

Next item on the agenda:  The Christmas games.  Teams were formed, bibs on and off to the school yard.  All students participated.  And the winners were:  the entire school as there is no higher prize than the joy and  smiles on the boys’ faces.  And that’s how part 2 of the day ended:  happy and satisfied with what had been achieved.
