A winning Recipe

The kitchen was ready.  Flour, yeast, milk, tomatoes, potatoes and other various delicacies were nicely displayed at Djar il-Bniet in Dingli.  Top up all these ingredients with joy, laughter, and enthusiasm and a winning recipe is guaranteed.   This was the set up for St Patrick’s School staff team building event just a day before the beginning of the new scholastic year.  They say that the choicest way through people’s heart is through their stomach.  And Fr Eric Cachia, the new Headmaster, chose wisely.

The happy atmosphere could be felt.  No lesson plans or class supervision but simply an apron and lots of fun. The staff was divided into four groups.  All their culinary expertise and creativity was put to test.  One can only imagine the nice smell of dough that pervaded the room as twenty two pizzas emerged from the oven.  Once ready they proudly savoured their work of art.

What an original and positive way to start a new year.  It gave the right boost needed to face new challenges. Let the new adventure begin, wishing you all a fantastic voyage.
