Sports and Activities Sports and Activities are given great importance at St Patrick’s. A number of cultural activities are organized throughout the year. Students are encouraged to participate in the Filming and Drama presentations that are put up in Christmas and during the Award Giving Ceremony. Three major sports events are held every year, Bosco Games which are held in January to mark the feast of Don Bosco, Savio Cultural and Sport activities, in which the school remembers Dominic Savio, (a boy who attended Don Bosco’s Oratory) and theAnnual Sports Day, held inMarch. In addition, throughout the year, class Live-ins are organized. These serve to build friendships while booking personal growth. Participation in such activities enhances student confidence, build resilience and develops skills such as teamwork—all vital qualities if students are to maximize life’s opportunities. Parents’ Day Although communicationwith parents/guardians is ongoing, the need for formal face to face meetings are held to discuss the students’ progress. Parents’/guardians days are held twice a year; one in the first term and another one in the second term. Parents/guardians are expected to come to parents’/guardians Days with their son. MySchool MySchool is an internet school database system which facilitates communication of information from the school staff to students and their parents. Since assessments are also posted in MySchool, students and parents can keep regular track of their academic progress. Notes, handouts, announcements, daily attendance, assessment grades, tests and annual reports are all communicated via MySchool. MySchool can be accessed from anywhere. Students and at least one of the parents are required to register to MySchool by submitting a unique email address. Login instructions and password will be then forwarded via email.
