Awards Giving Ceremony

The Award Giving Ceremony at St. Patrick’s School was a memorable event, celebrating the students’ achievements for the scholastic year 2022/23. Sebastian Gonzalez warmly welcomed all attendees, where he highlighted the core values that St. Patrick’s School upholds, setting the tone for the evening. On the second night it was school leaver Jeremy Bonello that addressed all present. He took the audience down his memory lane at ST. Patrick’s School.

The ceremony featured a short film titled “Mimli Tama,” produced by the school’s media team. The film depicted the struggles of a student facing a challenging situation at home, shedding light on the resilience and determination required to overcome personal adversity.

Following the film, Fr. Jeremy Vella sdb, the headmaster, addressed the audience. He spoke passionately about the vital role of collaboration between parents and the school. He emphasised that such partnerships are crucial for the holistic development and well-being of the students, ensuring they receive support both at home and at school. He also spoke about the school’s dedication to academic effort, character development, and community spirit.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards by Fr. Eric Cachia sdb, the Rector of St. Patrick’s. He honoured the students for their academic and extracurricular accomplishments and spoke about the power of hope in our endeavours.
