Support Services Team
St Patrick’s employs a number of student support service professionals to offer therapy and support students attending the School as well as residents benefiting from our services. The student support service team is made up of an Educational Psychologist, Psychotherapists and Social/Youth Workers.
The Support Services Team works in harmony with the other units in order to identify and meet, through intervention and evaluation, the therapeutic needs of children at St. Patrick’s, both as residents as well as day students.
Supervision or mentoring is offered to all members of staff in order to develop a culture of reflection on what happens in a child’s life and to understand how they can be more effective in their daily work. By means of the support offered to care teams and youngsters alike, a therapeutic climate is progressively promoted.
